Luxemburg, boiled pork with butter beans

Guten tag,

Luxemburg is one of the smallest countries in Europe. The cuisine is similar to Germany, France and Belgium.

We decided to cook their national dish, Judd mat Gaardenbounen which is essentially boiled pork and veggies. The veggies contained butter beans with a nice sauce.


The pork had a hint of the wine flavour but wasn’t anything special however I really enjoyed the butter beans in a butter, broth and flour sauce with savoury seasoning.
