Halló,
Iceland,
this country instantly brings to mind seafood and while seafood does play a
large role in their diet, sheep is also a dominant food source to the Icelandic
people. The domestic animal with the largest population in Iceland is the
sheep.
We
decided to cook Kjötsúpa, a lamb soup. The soup was a bit watery and probably
could have done with some sort of thickener or stock cubes but otherwise it was
quite nice. The lamb was tender and this was the first time I have ever had
lamb soup, a pleasant surprise.
